It’s hard not to reblog Camille. I thought about it because I’ve reblogged this gif a few times already. But I couldn’t scroll past it.

Some people’s characters are constructed to please you,
Their words and their actions designed to deceive you;
Others build walls behind which you can’t see,
And it’s hard to connect with them ‘til they are free;
But there are a few lovely creatures, whose hearts are so clear
You never once doubt that they’re being sincere,
And it’s not who they are that matters so much
As the fact that your souls are able to touch.

Holy crap the bruises! The intermediate BJJ class was intense! I loved it! There’s a lot more rolling in that class, less drilling, so it’s a whole different experience and a lot more physical. I’m glad I went because I’d been a bit nervous about rolling with the ‘big kids’! As usual everyone was super nice and I had nothing to worry about.
The handstand workshop was AWESOME. She took me through the steps I need to build up the strength and confidence to be able to do a handstand, and how to do them properly (i.e. the proper shape). She’s a gymnast so she knows her shit. She taught us how to do press handstands, walking handstands, pirouette handstands, one-handed handstands, and the proper way to enter and leave the handstand.
